Just think, of all over the World, of the great numbers of Mices we catch and dead. We do the world a huge favor just for this one thing!
Now my dog Stella, does nothing like this, but I just keep her for a pet anyway (our Mom likes her better than I do, but she is mine.)
Stella just likes to go outside and talk to the neighbor dogs and lay around. My Mom takes her for a walk pretty often, but I would not care to go with them. I might go if they were to buy me a Strolleo and push me around, but never would I walk on the ground with them.
My idea of fun is to play Slinky on the stairs and thats what I do when they go. Its so fun and good exercise for cats, so try it if it looks like fun to you!

Happy Cat Day!!! I don't know if I've ever mentioned it, but cats were my first love, dogs were not--We will always be a house with at least one, and the hope that it would sometime become two! :-)

ReplyDeleteZkat, we just read "Lost Cat" by Caroline Paul. About a cat who likes to explore and visit his neighborhood. His people put a GPS on his collar to track his wanderings. Then they added a little camera to his collar.
ReplyDeleteI bet many cats would love to wander a bit and then come home. Are cats ever eager to share their experiences? Dogs are always so excited, as if saying "I saw this... I saw that.... It was biggest! the best! Let's go again". I never see a cat say that.
You never wiil either, Brenda, we keep what we know to ourselves mostly. Just the smart way to be.
