You know in a few weeks we will be having a holiday much of which revolves around the Easter Bunny and other candies. If you have any chocolate bunny eaters in your family, please urge them to take care while enjoying their bunnies.
I am most sorry to have to tell you, I do not have any of the things I promised last week. This has been a wicked week weather-wise, and much time has been spent chopping away at ice, moving snow around, dealing with water dripping from the ceiling due to ice dams. Totally not fun and very tiresome. As the weather warms its going to be better but until then, we just have to be a little vigilant. No sewing or knitting done this week. We will try for a
extra edition though, hopefully next week.
Hoping for your understanding and good wishes , we are offering you ours,
Jo, Stella and Zkhat
(the bunny picture is from the Wonderful World of Bizarro at http://bizarrocomics.com/)
Tee hee look at those Bunnies!
ReplyDeleteHope Spring arrives soon in Minnie-Snowda.
Toodle pip!
Bertie - who is always full of Spring. Boing boing.
Everytime I see that bunny picture I laugh again. I think I may use that on Easter this year. LOL!
ReplyDeleteNo worries we see you when we see you. Stay warm stay dry and stay safe. Have a super Saturday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
We totally understand...
ReplyDeleteTHANKS fur the BUNNY FUNNY this morning.
Jo, the highlight of Saturday is awaiting your post - so waiting for next week's post is doubly exciting. Stay dry, stay warm... wish I were there to help ya move the snow and ice - and to sew!
ReplyDeletesorry for the tough week! roof leaks are NO FUN!
ReplyDeleteHope next week is better.. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteYumm, we bet the ears and the butt taste equally as good.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
The bunnies are safe from me. From the Missus not so much. She is a First Class chocoholic....
ReplyDeleteOh I forgot to mention sorry about your leaky roof. I'll refrain from going into the details of our frozen and backed up septic tank....:(
ReplyDeleteDo you have a metal roof? We do, and we get those roof dams too. Just this year, we added heating elements to part of the roof to try to melt away the ice and prevent dams. It worked! So, we'll have the rest of the roof done next summer.
ReplyDeleteSorry about your rough weather. It will turn springlike soon - I'm sure of it!
Rob and I both love chocolate and he usually gets me a bunny. Can't help myself.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the weather. It's supposed to be in the 60s today and 70s tomorrow. Come on down!
The melty/refreeze cycle is, as momma remembers, often worse than the original snow. Please be careful not to overdo. We know you all are capable independent folks but...we love snowbirds and with Becks and Josh moving next door this weekend, we have our guest room back!
ReplyDeleteMomma, of course, has photos on the stairway in matching velvet dresses with her sisters but she would have to find the photos in the basement and then sort through and scan an ancient black and white photo into the computer. Not that she would mind, but remember we are still recovering from The Plumbing Events and Becks/Josh still have LOTS of their stuff waiting to move next door. But she promises when all is calm (hahahaha) she WILL try to find a few growing up gems for you (or the WDA will)!
